Last Summer Trip

So after my first week an a half of school we manged to get away for the weekend, much to my disapproval because we are going through some tough times, but Marco knew what was best and God blessed us in many ways. We headed out to Monterrey for the weekend, it was a little chilly but the kids where still able to enjoy the beach and the park!






















Lily and I had such a great time at Denise the Menace park. It is a great kid friendly zone with tons of different play structure. My personal favorite was the red rolling pin slide. I also enjoyed the suspension bridge. Their was even a smaller tot area that Adriano enjoyed, it was hard to take a picture as I was helping him go down the slide though :(

9 months old

Adriano turned 9 months old on August 20th. Adriano and Lily are the apples of my eyes. I truly enjoy spending each waking minute with my children.

~ I love the way that he moves about. Ariano can now roll/scoot. He is attempting to take off on his tummy.

~ I love the way he giggles when he gets up in the morning.

~ I love the way he splashes about in the tub.

~I love the way that he laughs.

~ I love to watch him smile.

~ I love to watch his face as toys light up an play music.

~ I love the way he babbles. He is currently saying bababa, or mmam.

~ I love the way that him and his sister have a screaming fest.

~ I love the way the he looks at me so seriously when he is about to do something wrong like pull on the table runner.

~I love to hear his little cries for attention the minute I get home!

~ I love the way that he interacts with Lily andd Lily with him.

~ I love the fact that you are getting a month full of teeth. The two front teeth have began poking through

One of my favorite parks to take the kids is central park in MH, they have a great water feature a hammock! Here are a few pictures from our little trip to the park:

Convention

We had a good time at convention in Burligame California. We went Friday night and spent the night at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Friday we got settled in went room hoping and down to the dance. We had dinner at INO. Saturday I had an early start (4am with Adriano). Lily and the rest of the gang got up around 6:30. We had our dress rehersal on stage and then went back had pizza and got ready. It was such a long weekend but Lily seemed to have a great time on stage :)

Ok..so I am not posting this as I am writting it to avoid others looking before convention day. I am very proud of the kids this year. We started practicing in June and they have done an amazing job. We have some new dancers who really let their abilities shine and we even had a dancer that only had 4 practices. This year it was a combined effort by all the parents. The Machados and us undertook the little kids, what fun! I am so proud of Lily because at dress rehersal she knew exactly when it was time for switches etc! She did an amazing job! GO YC #25! WE rock!

First Park Experinece

We have had some nice weather so I decided to take the kids to the park, as always Lily had a great time! Adriano even enjoyed it too. He sat on the slide and swung!

Weekend with Avo Joe

I must say this was the best visit I have had with my father in law and not just because I made him cry. He was truly caring! On Saturday when we arrived we took Liliana minature golfing..here are a few pictures:




















We also marched the Hanford festa on Sunday :)Lily wanted to be sidemaide, It was cute but she only lasted until we got to the church. While church was going on the girls played at the park across the street!














After lunch at the festa we headed to Superior Dairy.. While I was not impressed with the quality of the ice cream the called this a single scoop...

To end a great weekend we had dinner with whole Tavares Clan
