I decided to give Lily and Adriano a bath tohgether. Lily is so gentle with him. She loves to help and Adriano just loves bath time!

First Trip to the mall and Playdate

Yesterday we went to the mall with Sophie and Paula. The girls had fun playing at the bookstore and also in the Target Dollar Spot. They wanted to play in the mall play yard, but ti was packed. IT was also the first time that Adriano was able to go for a stroller ride, he had such a great time. He was so well behaved we spent about 2 hours at the mall and he did not get fussy until the end :) Here are a few pictures:

14 Weeks old


I love how your learning to make bubbles.

I love the way you look all wrapped up in your swaddle.

I love the way you smile.

I love the way you coo.

I love the way that Liliana tickles you and attempts to play with you.

I love the way that Liliana loves to take pictures with you when mommy pulls out the camera.




I love the way that you smile as you antic pate mommy giving you cereal.




I love the way that grandpa and grandma play with you.

I love the way you smiled at avos friend when she came to the house, you can tell it melted her heart.

3 Months Old ~What I love about you!

Today 2/20/2010 Adriano turned 3 months old. It is so hard for me to believe that it has been three months already. He is a wonderful baby eats and sleeps well and for the most part is a very happy little boy.




























~ I love that you recognize our voices and begin to smile as we talk.
~ I love that as you where being baptized you smiled up at God.
~ I love the way you giggle when you are being tickled.
~ I love that you like being held facing out so that you can see what is going on.
~ I Love that when we gave you you're first taste of cereal you knew exactly what to do.
~ I love how well behaved you where when mommy took you to church on Sunday and again on Wednesday.
~ I love how you just love to stare and smile at your mobile.
~ I love how much better you are at focusing your attention, holding your head up, and that you even smile at sissy!

Lily and Adriano

Lily loves her brother as you can see from the pictures, but what may not be as noticable is the fact that she is a little jealous. Here are some of the cute jealous things she does:

~tells me Adriano and daddy and Lily and Mommy. If I ask mommy and Adriano she tells me "NO, mommy and Lilly"

~She will tell me mommy it's time to put Adriano in the swing.

~She will climb into my arms and lay across them like a baby.

~She will tell me she wants to sleep in Adriano's crib.

~If I'm giving the baby his milk she will tell me "Mommy Lily Late to"

~If I'm holding the baby she will tell me "Mommy Lily up to."


Even so she does show him she loves him by
~Giving him kisses
~playing games with him
~tickling him
~wanting to help feed and bathe him

First Taste of Food

Adriano had his first taste of cereal on 2/16/2010. He loved it so much, and barley made a mess. We take his lead now and if he show interest and wants to eat it, we give it to him if not then we skip it. He is growing up so fast!

Visting Day

Last Monday both Marco and I where off from work, so we took advantage and went out visiting. We took off to Merced first to visit The Labenderia family. I hadn't seen baby Antonio since he was born. It was great to get to see Melanie and to introduce or kids to each other. Adriano and Antonio are a month apart. Then we headed back to Tracy, and visited my Madrinha. We had so much fun! Hope to do it again soon!

Valentines Day

So Adriano is 12 weeks old and I had yet to take both of them out alone. So on Sunday (2/14) that all changed. I decided to pack up the diaper bag and take both the kids to church, Costco, and my mom's house. It was easier then I had imagined. I love spending quality time with my kids and for Lent my goal is to go to church every Sunday.
When we came home we were able to spend time as a family!

Adriano's Baptism

Adriano was Baptized today, February 13, 2010. His Godparents are John Tavares and Debbie Azevedo. There where 5 other children baptized. Present at the baptism where Debbie, Kevyn, Ashley, Tony Daniel, Brenda, Tia Fatima, Andre, Maryann, Joao, Michael, Malinda, Avo Rocha,AVo Rocha, Mommy, Daddy, and Lily. It was a small get together but it was perfect. Adriano did not cry as he was being baptized, he even smiled. It was the most precious thing ever. Here are a few pictures from this blessed event:

What I love about you....
I love how much more you smile






















I love the way you are now paying attention to colors.
I love the way you are tracking sounds, and people.
I love the way you let your sister play with you.

I love how much better your getting at holding your head up.

Playtime

Before lunch today Adriano, Liliy and I enjoyed some floor time. Adriano practiced holding his head up while on his tummey and after a while Liliana practiced driving us to school. I had so much fun with the kids!

11 Weeks old

Wow its hard to believe that Adriano is 11 weeks old. It seems that I love him more and more each day. He is truly a good baby and I enjoy the time I am able to spend with him and Liliana


What I love about you...11 weeks

I love how you cuddle up against mommy.

I love how calm you are in your car seat.

I love how you manage to fall asleep in the car, even if its just a 5 minute trip.

I love to watch daddy and Lily play with you.

I love to make you smile.

I love the way you light up when you hear a familiar voice.

I love the way you smile in your sleep.

I love to see you smile.

I love to hear you babble.

I love the way you smell after a bath.
