First Dr's Appointment: November 24 at 11:05 with Dr. Khuana at the Tracy Kasier.
Stats where as follows:
Weight 6lbs 6 ounces
Height: 19 amd 3/4 inches
Head Circumference 13 1/4 inches.

Other happenings: Had another PKU that came back normal!

Interesting fact: Lily was intent on the doctor checking the babies ears and she cried when the baby was taken away with daddy to have blood drawn!




First time in a swing: November 25.

Other Visitors have included: Tia and Andre, Paula, Nathan, Sophie and Marco's best friend Brian.
Daddy was able to take time off so he will be home from November 20-November 30th.

Headed Home and meeting my sister

Mommy and baby where given a clean bill of health and allowed to go home on Sunday November 22. Before then I was given my PKU- no jundice :). Had a newborn screening completed, and had my hearing tested. Mommy also had to show the doctors that she was ready to go home by walking arond the hospital and moving about as much as possible, considering she had major surgery completed. We were given instructions to return for a well baby check on Tuesday, mommy was to go back Wednesday to hav her staples removed!


When we arrived at home, Liliana was able to meet her bother for the first time. She was so excited and willing to help. She ran through everything that mom had beeen teeling her for weeks would have to be done when the baby arrived including ran and got a diaper, and a bottle. too cute! She was all smiles from ear to ear!

At the Hospital

Adriano was delivered via C section at Kasier Hospital in Modesto. Daddy was the first to hold the baby and then it was mommy. Our first visitors where Joan(mommy's friend and co worker) and her daughter Molly. Followed by avo Rocha, primo Andre, and Tia Fatima. Our last hospital visitors where Melanie and Kevin. Our family extends a warm thank you to all who shared in our special moments.

Welcome to the World

On Friday November 20th we welcomed our son Adriano Jose Tavares to the world. He weighed 7lbs and 1 ounce. He was 19 and 3/4 inches long. He was born at 8:58 via c section. He was due to arrive November 25 via c section, but due to some high blood pressure issues the doctors decided it would be safer to deliver him a few days early. He was 38.3 weeks gestation at the time of deliver. Both parents and big sister, Lily all love him and are excited to see him grow.

I was able to take maternity pictures, thanks to a great friend. We had such a great time taking the photos. They also came out GREAT! So if you live in the area and need a great photographer let me know! Here are a few of my favorites!

Halloween

Lily and I had a great Halloween. First we all went to Costco, before daddy went to work and Lily was able to go in her costume! She looked so cute. Then Paula, Sophie, Lily and I went to the Halloween parade and downtown trick or treating event. We were not there long, cuz their was a ton of people. We then went to my moms and had dinner. Paula, Sophie, Lily and I met up again for some door to door trick or treating, the girls did great and had fun! We ended the evening by going to my godparents house and hanging out with them for a while! Here are a few pictures of the days events!
