Festa Fun

This last Saturday Marco, Liliana and I had the opprtunity to go to the Hilmar festa. While we weren't there very long we still had a great time. Liliana enjoyed seeing all the animals and we had an opprtunity to chat with some friends. Here are a few pictures from the festa:

More Fun at Grandma's

From House to Home

Now that we have the keys to our house, we are in the process of making it our home. We have started painting, as the people who owned the house before us were smokers. We will also be getting our ducts cleaned this week and hopefully by the start of next week we will be able to begin the carpet installation.

Future Dancing with the Stars, star

So the other day Liliana was dancing around the house to music from her toy. She picked up the doll and started dancing with her too, it was just too cute not to get on tape!! Hope you can see it once I uploaded it it looked a little dark.

We will be getting the keys to our house tomorrow, it will officially be ours. Words could not describe the emotion felt behind these words!! We have been looking for a property since March and have found something that fits our family perfectly now and into the future. I will be taking pictures soon!! Thanks to our wonderful agent and mortgage broker, we appreciate everything they did!!

Thoughts

I have been thinking latley that it has been nice living with my parents. They are great with Liliana and its nice to never be home alone :). It has also had its trials though, so its good that while we are moving we will still be close to them. I am sure my parents will enjoy the peace and quite!!Well off to claim our prize and listen to a boring video!!

House Update

As many of you know we are in the process of buying a house. We signed papers on Tuesday October 14. Due to the repairs being completed on the house, the loan is yet to fund. The inspector has to go out there and approve the work that has been completed. We are so excited to be this close. If all goes well we will have the keys by next week. If not we will have to wait another week. We are currently in the process of chossing flooring for the house, we want to do a mix of tile(bathrooms and laundry room) carpet(bedrooms) and wood floor(everywhere else). We are so excited to be this close to the final step. Once we get into the house we would like to update the baths and the kitchen. Maybe try to convience for some friends to come down and help us put in new kitchen cabnets and counter tops to in exchange for a trip to disnleyland lol!!
