Adriano's first tub Toys

I know what your thinking, but he is like 7 months old. He had a great time with the tub toys! What a cutie lol!

Polga's Pool

Adriano stayed at grandma's house while we went to fest. It was too hot for him, so when I got to grandmas, she mentioned that Padrinho bought a pool for polga but she did not want anything to do with it, and that she had tried to take Adriano out, but he wanted nothing to do with it. So we let Lily have at it, but of course Mommy was not prepared so she swam in a diaper, which by the way became enlarged very quickly!

Atwater Festa

On June 27 Liliana, Marco and I headed to the atwater festa. Marco carried the organazations banner, and lily did great carrying the sign on the way there. On the way back it was too hot for her and she just took a ride in Debbie's stroller. We had lunch at burger king! What a great time :)

Swimming

Liliana had her first swim lesson. She was so excited, everyday she would start asking to put her swimming suit on way earlier then needed. When we got to the pool she would tell me "Mommy, Senhora help me?" Daily she would give me a report of what she did " Mommy, I did big jumping" or " Mommy, I swim." I am so glad she is not afraid of the water and that she really seems to enjoy herself.

Very soon it will be time for gymnastics.

Tracy Festa

Liliana was asked to a part of the Tracy festa. She was invited to be an angel. On the way to church she was unsure of the float, but she quickly made some friends. On the way back, Lily did not want to sit in the trailer, she wanted to walk so we let her. She had such a great time playing with Ashley, Kevyn and Tony. Here are a few pictures:

Date Night

On Saturday of the local Fest, my mom stayed with the kids while marco and I had the opprtunity to go to the festa. It was nice to spend time together. We danced a few songs, but then I felt guilty that my mom was with the kids so we came home early. Not to mention I was not impressed with the band, they where really loud!

Mommy School

Lily is my little learner. She loves to play school. Most of the time I get home from work and she tells me "Mommy school please." She is very eager to learn. She can identify about 12 letters and state the sound of about the same number of letters. She can identify her shapes (circle, triangle, and square). She can write the first 2 letters of her name and now states her name "Nana Vaz" its not completely correct but totally cute. She also has developed an understanding of things matching. She can match colors but has difficulty naming then. Most importantly is that she has a love for reading!
