Tot school

~Liliana is 28 months old~
So it was our first week back from our Tot school break! I am hoping to continue with Tot school until our newest bundle of joy arrives in november/december. We were able to introduce the Cootie game this week. We also played on the computer this week. Currently her favorite site is Seasmestreet.org We also read nightly!









At the school carnival Liliana was able to go fishing and play a sorting game with fish and shells. We also made it to go see her first movie this week. We saw Cloudy with a chance of meatballs.

School Carnival

Today we went to the Traina school carnival. The theme was " Around the world" we were able to enjoy performances from various cultural groups as well as sample various food items from different cultures. My favorite was the Lumpia's. Liliana also enjoyed the games. We also bought her some cute hair clips. I was impressed by the schools since of community! Go TIGERS!

Family Movie Night

On Friday September 25 we took Liliana to see her first movie. We watched Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Liliana enjoyed her ICEE and popcorn, but about 10 minutes before the end of the movie she was getting fussy and saying "mommy bye bye." So I walked out with her. We had a great night! It was great to get to spend time as a family. I actually made it to the movies before baby number 2 came. Here is a photo of her outside the theater.



After the movie daddy offered to let Liliana rid the carousel. Liliana had such a great time. I however thought it went a little fast. She had such a good time waving bye to daddy and saying up and down! She is truly our pride and joy!

Semi tot school!

Liliana 28 months old

We have not been doing formal tot school for a while now. Its been hard but this week we started with coloring and memory game. I was amazed at how well she played the Memory matching game. We also have been singing a lot, her favorite song this week is "I am taking home a baby bumble bee" I can not wait to get started again in full swing!

Trip to San Fransisco

So Thursday was Marco's day off. We were supposed to go to a Dr's appointment, but the doctor canceled. So Marco asked if I could get off on time, and I did. He surprised us and took us to San Fransisco. We had a great time. We walked the pier and had dinner and ice cream. We were going to take the bus to the pier, but it was too full. So we started to walk but I got a really bad cramp and Marco decided we could ride the bikes. Liliana enjoyed this so much, that we decided to take a bike on the way back as well!Here is a picture of us arriving at the pier!

Mommy and Lily Date Night

So Liliana and I where able to go on a spontaneous date night. We started off going to get a bite to eat. We ate outdoors, because the weather was nice and cool. Then we headed off to get my haircut. Liliana sat in the chair next to mine like a big girl but kept wanting a turn to cut her haircut. We stopped off at Starbucks to get something cool and refreshing to drink and ask if they wouldn't mind making a donation to my classroom. Thanks STARBUCKS! We headed home and watched a TV show and then read books! It was such a good day today :)

28 months old

Its hard to believe that Liliana is 28 months old.
